I have already tried to reduce my stress and nothing seems to really help. Why would this be any different?
Being stressed out is frustrating and can be hard to heal. Medication, exercise, yoga, and other methods are sometimes not adequate tools by themselves. Identifying the right tool or perspective for dealing with your stress will feel great when you find it, as I have. The model and method I use with clients is at the center of my own yoga practice and meditation, as well as just sitting in the backyard. It is a perspective, much more than a technique.
Sure I am stressed, but really what I need to work on is the abuse and trauma that I suffered as a child. Will you be able to help me with that?
